Spade_Cooley 9,474 Posted June 27 Steffen Tangstad, former European heavyweight champion who also competed for world belts, dead at 65. Beat Joe Bugner, drew with Buster Douglas, lost to Michael Spinks. Went on to appear on Norway's version of Strictly, and a lack of Norwegians around these parts might explain why nobody had mentioned him despite the dreaded "amputations related to long-running health conditions" a few years ago.

Spade_Cooley 9,474 Posted August 5 Checking the archives and I don't think anyone has mentioned that "The Ragamuffin Man" Lloyd Honeyghan has suffered from severely bad health in recent years, to the point he was in intensive care in 2020 and in 2022 it was announced he was "housebound and being cared for 24/7". Feels like a possible DL pick in the lower 40s in a quieter year.
