"The initial diagnosis was a real shock for me, but the positive thing is that we've caught it early and the prognosis and next steps have all been positive".

That would suggest it's localised. The survival rate of localised testicular cancer is 99% according to the SEER database.

David Brooks has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma. Survival rate is about 90% for that stage so hopefully he won’t be a DDP hit in the coming years.

Age is more important, younger people have much better outcomes @ stage 4 than elderly people @ stage 2. The overall survival rate for stage 2 is 94.3%, at his age his chances of dying are almost non-existent.

You can't beat Ulitzer Thatcher Willz Wee Jum to the news here, even with a breaking news notification!

Felt he wasn't long for this world after the rumours/stuff earlier this year.

Well there goes a potential DL pick for 2022 who was guaranteed to be a hit.

November and December will no doubt rob us of quite a few others, as they always do.

October's been culling my shortlist like it was Boris Johnson getting rid of the pro-EU Tory MPs!

DDP description for Walter Smith is "current manager of Rangers".

Shows how long ago he was seemingly first picked.

An Austrian Cup tie between Blau-Weiss Linz and TSV Hartberg has been abandoned after Raphael Dwamena collapsed on the sidelines.

Dwamena (26) only joined BW Linz in the summer after a layoff after having an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) implanted to correct a heart ailment while at Levante last year.

In between his time at Levante and BW Linz, he played for Vejle BK in Denmark, where an issue with his heart led to his contract being terminated.

More likely he has been offered the Norwich job but when he was at Leicester there was an issue when the club issued a statement that he was OK.
