Latest WON reveals that the murder case against "Crybaby" Jim Breaks has been dropped due to him suffering from dementia.

Impeccable source reporting that Jim Breaks is, well, dead:

Jim Breaks also a DDP pick this year. QO quick enough to beat the end of the year?

Edit: Another Christmas Day death according to other sources.

Ah, a Jim Breaks and Adrian Street matchup. Both dead this year.

It’s hard to see him being a late broadsheet obituary. So I think he will either get the tabloid treatment within the next 48 hours or so or no obit at all.

1947 - Luke, George Wells, Ax, Teddy Long, Killer Khan, Tommy Young

*won some tag titles with a very young Rocky Johnson so his route to an obit is "Rock mourns friend of dad" - very very slim but not non-existent!

1950 and 1951 have no staying power so far.

Killer Khan dead at 76 and straight to QO.

Article also mentions he had two minor heart procedures in December...very old for a professional wrestler, also very old for someone from Samoa. Reaching the end or a potential coffin tease?

I thought I'd replied to this with "he's a hard bastard" but forgot, so even though its a week later: he's a hard bastard, you know.

Frankie Capone, jobber from the early early days of TNA, dead at 48. Did some enhancement work for the Fed in the mid-2000s as well.

Aww man, Ice Train was on that list of mediocre wrestlers wrestling tricked me into thinking were amazing as a kid alongside the likes of Adam Bomb and Henry Godwinn.

(Actually if Adam Bomb showed up today I'd still mark out even though he's sixty and rubbish.)

Little says more about how "autobook card" the dying days of WCW were than Ice Train, having not been seen on TV for seven years, coming back to feud with Kanyon (who was tag-teaming with Road Warrior Animal).

Pretty sure Ice Train was one of the first "American" wrestlers I ever saw, when WCW started on British TV he was getting a mini-push doing handicap squashes.

Nothing from the Mirror/Sun/Metro on Ice Train passing, does this mean the door is closed off for pre-Attitude Era midcarders as viable DDP picks?

Marty Jannetty update. His sister has died, and his leg, which looks fucked after a botched op (I'm not linking to pics on here), apparently needs amputated.

Dutch out of hospital and back to making... shall we say "specialised" content for certain niche YouTube audiences.

Somebody just added Rey Mysterio to the "Deaths of 2024" Wikipedia page. Big if true, I think.

Edit: And gone after 3 minutes.

Surely would have been on social media first not some random on Wikipedia. Wrestling has enough media exposure that it would have been all over Twitter and various websites within minutes of him actually dying...
