The Miser 18 Posted December 23, 2012 This was a bad pick. Eli will make it to 100. This was a bad pick. Eli will make it to 100. This was a bad pick. Eli will make it to 100. This is a bad pick.....Regardless if he makes it when if you repick him; is the juice worth the squeeze? List him until he falls and breaks his hip? With Biggs at least you get some chatter. Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted May 9, 2013 It's the healthy eating that gets you to old age. Winston Churchill, Clifton James and Cyril Smith are some other obvious examples of that.......
Predictor 1,018 Posted December 8, 2013 Wohoo, Eli Wallach turned 98 yesterday. As far as I know, he's still in solid health: http://poundridge.dailyvoice.com/neighbors/happy-birthday-pound-ridge-s-eli-wallach
Predictor 1,018 Posted December 19, 2013 Might be worth mentioning that Eli Wallach has been blind in his left eye for more than 8 years. This was as a result of a stroke he suffered a few years prior to the 2005 release of his autobiography. So he was a near-nonagenarian when it happened, So what exactly is an eye stroke? *A dangerous condition in which blood either becomes blocked or reduced to the tissues of the front part of the optic nerve *It is caused by poor circulation in the blood vessels that supply the front portion of the optic nerve *If the optic nerve's nutrient and oxygen supply is cut off, nerve tissue is damaged and lost, resulting in vision loss *Most people with eye stroke notice a loss of vision in one eye upon waking in the morning with no pain *If your doctor suspects eye stroke, he or she will review your medical history and ask about cardiovascular disease and conditions you may have such as diabetes, hypertension or high cholesterol *Eye stroke is more common in middle-aged people and the elderly *Cardiovascular disease raises your risk for developing the disease *There is a 30% chance that it will happen to the other eye within three years. Hmm, so it's no wonder Eli Wallach survived the stroke as it only affects the eyes. But I wonder if has/had one of those risk factors like diabetes, hypertension or high cholesterol? Or is it just old age alone?

Having said that he should still be on the list for the year he turns 100.

CaptainChorizo 1,983 Posted May 19, 2014 http://deadpool.rotten.com/popular.html I wonder if lasting long enough to make it into the top 100 of this list is partly what keeps him going.
