Just to hammer home the tawdriness of the situation.

So, there'll doubtless be a "hold my beer" moment wherein Truss takes the tone a little lower. In the celebrity jungle, or elsewhere.

In the wake of Cummings' testimony the ever-reliable Daily Star nails it again!

Mad Nad's missive on the machinations that brought down her hero finally out - doubtless there'll be names flying around for the Tory insider who had a rabbit dismembered and nailed to a door. Whether the current revelations about Bojo's befuddlement in office have further undermined the sales potential of this tome is another question. Nobody but the Daily Fail has seen fit to feature it on the front page.

Is she diving into her subconcious/dream world and emoting her Glenn Close infatuation and her BJ fatal attraction.

So, the question is...is this one of the names redacted during the "delayed release" phase while the lawyers took another look, or is this person unnamed because he doesn't exist outside of Mad Nad's head? An "explosive book" telling us what's really going on built entirely on Chinese whispers...

Significant, I think, that no other news outlet is going big on these specific claims - some actually choosing to ignore it completely.

It's likely the talk of the remaining Westminster Conservatives who still think they can survive the next election because they'll worry Mad Nad's rantings just drag down a party that's desperately trying to find some way of looking like it's still in charge. Not the fairest reality check, admittedly, but this "talk of Westminster" story isn't amongst the 22 clickable links on the current BBC Politics page.

Whilst she's ranting off stage there's a country to run and a world with which we're trying to engage.

She's already done the jungle, right?

How well can she dance?
