Life In Prison

Recommended Posts

Stuart Hazell changed his plea to guilty, and - today - copped 38 years for sexual assault, murder and post-mortem porning of Tia Sharp. I'm guessing suicide watch/segregated for own protection etc.

But you never know...

Have we done the one about no more Tias in Heav...

Aye, my coat!

I would think he is a prime choice for topping himself but he comes across as a coward . A big time coward and freak. I think all the talk about him threatening to kill himself was for sympathy .

Lets hope he manages to do one thing right and kill himself.

In January 2014!

Dictator Efraín Ríos Montt, 86, and baby killer Kermit Gosnell, 72, sentenced to 80 years and life respectively this week.

At least Montt has a release date. Something to cling on to.

Scratch that! Montt spent just a day in prison, as his sentence has been overturned by the constitutional court. He's now in a military hospital awaiting retrial. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/may/21/rios-montt-genocide-case-collapses

Richard "The Night Stalker" Ramirez has died in prison while awaiting execution. http://bit.ly/13Leowg

I've never understood why in America they hand out the death penalty, and then let people languish on death row for years if not decades

I suppose it's meant to reflect the human condition: condemned to death at birth, we all serve life.

Hein

Terminal cancer or no terminal cancer, Scott Thorson is now in jail for credit card fraud and is calling himself "Jess Marlow" for some reason.

I suppose he went "Fuck it all" after his boyfriend stopped being Pope

With the release of the new movie about him and Liberace, Thorson's been whoring himself out for more publicity, including claiming his cancer is now "stage 3 colon cancer", coupled with various addictions. He's been bailed out by the upstanding citizen that is Dennis Hof, who is paying for his treatment, but is seemingly headed back to prison after pleading guilty to the credit card fraud.

So, maybe not a total write off pick after all...

Another inmate worthy of consideration would be Brian Shivers, 44, a Real IRA type person who is awaiting trial for allegedly shooting a couple of soliders in Antrim earlier this year. His lawyers tried to stop judges from detaining him in custody, saying that the poor lamb suffers from cystic fibrosis and his life would be at risk if he was kept in a confined enviroment, especially if he was exposed to the swine flu virus. The average life expectancy for cystic fibrosis suffers is well below forty and it is very rare for sufferers to live much past the age of 50. So he's done very well to get this far, especially if he really was healthy enough to open fire on an army barracks.

He should suffer from Parkinson's with a surname like that...

I had taken a punt on him this year and he has had conviction quashed..

Hopefully go on the swallow or have some folk after him. Bad time for release during height of marching season imo......

Hmm, two high profile rira men died this week. One "fell" off a roof, and bomber beaten to death in an alley.

All may not be lost on Mr shivers yet.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to put this in (If there is a general serial killer thread I can't find it) Or if this guy is famous enough in the UK to make the news but William MacDonald (The Sydney Mutilator) Is 88 years old and a former alcoholic, can't last much longer methinks.

Technically not in prison but he sure knows the walls inside. One of the founders of the Medellin cartel in Colombia, Juan David Ochoa died in a very un-ganger like way by heart attack.
