Barbara Billingsley who played June Cleaver on 'Leave It to Beaver' is dead. Thats a unique pick for "HackinNcackin'" if she gets a britobit.

UK obit for Billingsley. Well done to HackinNcackin for selecting her on this year's DDP.

Great. That means I can use my pun, and it has more to do with her role in Airplane! than in Leave it to Beaver.... :deathban:

Huh, I swear I had her on my list, as well. :/ I guess not, damn.

Shot-Put innovator James E. Fuchs has died of "numerous illnesses" at the age of 82. He pioneered a new shot-put throwing technique (sadly called the "Sideways Glide" and not the "Flying Fuchs") and broke four world records in his chosen field.

Johnny Sheffield

The child actor who played Boy in the "Tarzan" movies opposite Johnny Weissmuller has died aged 79. Ironically for one noted for his agility amongst trees, he died following a fall from a ladder while pruning a palm tree.

Following his "Tarzan" successes, he starred in a series of films as "Bomba the Jungle Boy" before giving up acting in 1955.

And that's another near miss on the DDP this year.

Nooooooo. Poor Father Dowling.

Sad but true - I once had a bit of a schoolboy crush on Father Dowling's rather lovely sidekick Sister Stephanie. :)

Poor old Tom Bosley. Father Dowling was probably the only Catholic cleric I've ever been able to tolerate.

Yes, quite a surprise. When I first read about it, I immediately thought of a pun, but now it can't be used. :)

Bob Guccione, the founder and former publisher of Penthouse magazine, has died of cancer aged 79.

That's a hit for Keeper of the heads and The Douglas Bader Dance Troupe 2010 when a UK obit comes.

Malcolm Allison.

Was planning on using him next year as well...

RIP Big Mal

Better known as a Man City manager perhaps, but I'll always remember him for bringing soft-porn star Fiona Richmond into the Crystal Palace team bath ...

I doubt if the WAGs were impressed, but it beat a bottle of Matey.

Hello Cerberus.

It's been a while.

Ha, yeah, about 4 years between posts I think (although I do lurk from time to time). I'm active on a couple of cricket forums and on the off-topic section people were speculating on Mrs T's likely (or otherwise) demise, so I mentioned this place.

I see many of the old crew are still here, but did the lovely Amanda ever come back?
