Jeremy Nobis died aged 52 on Apr 19 was an American alpine skier who competed in the 1994 Winter Olympics

He died in his prison cell, he was arrested on March 25, 2019, after a rollover on Interstate 15 near mile marker 42. According to the statement of probable cause filed in support of Nobis' arrest, his Blood alcohol level was measured at 0.42, or more than eight times Utah's legal limit. He was released from prison three days later.
In August 2021, after Nobis did not appear via videoconference regarding the case, an arrest warrant was issued. He was taken back into custody at the Iron County Jail on February 11, 2023 and has been incarcerated ever since.
His case appeared to be close to a resolution, with Nobis making an initial appearance in the 5th District Court in mid-February and then pleading guilty to a single DUI charge, a third-degree felony, on March 7. sentence of April 25.

Anatoly Akentyev died aged 81 on 23/apr, was a Russian cross-country skier, competed at the 1968 Winter Olympics in the 15, 30, 50 and 4 × 10 km events and finished 10th–20th individually and fourth place in the relay

Terry McDermott, competed at three Winter Olympics for the USA in the 500m speed skating, winning gold in 1964 (the only gold for the US at those games) and silver in 1968, reportedly dead: 

He had missed the '64 closing ceremony to appear on the Ed Sullivan show, which was also the night The Beatles debuted on that show.

Lino Jordan died aged 79 the Italian born in Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses was a biathlete, he competed in the 1972 Winter Olympics and the 1976 Winter Olympics, together with Mario Bacher and Franco Ceroni, he also finished in third in the 1973 Trofeo Mezzalama ski mountaineering competition

Jean Wicki died at the age of 89 on 11/Jun/2023, he was a Swiss bobsledder who competed in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Competing in two Winter Olympics, he won three medals with one gold (Four men: 1972) and two bronze (Two Men: 1972, Four Men: 1968).

Leo Insam was an Italian ice hockey player from Bolzano who died aged 48 on 25/junl. He played most of his professional career in the Italian league, with brief stops in Austria and Germany. Insam was a member of the Italian squad at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics. In addition, he played for the national junior team three times and for the senior team six times at world championships.

Josette Baisse, French olympian cross-country skier at the 1952 Oslo Games, has died aged 98.

Now Jacqueline Du Bief, who competed in figure skating, is the last living French female olympian of those games.

Billy MacMillan was a Canadian hockey player from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who died aged 80 on July 15, after several years with the Canadian national team, including playing in two World Championships and the 1968 Winter Olympics, winning a bronze medal, MacMillan made his NHL debut in 1970 with the Toronto Maple Leafs . He played for the Toronto, Atlanta Flames and New York Islanders between 1970 and 1977, and retired in 1978. He became a coach during his senior year, spent the CHL Minors, and moved to the NHL in 1979, when he became an assistant coach of the Islanders. He was named head coach of the Colorado Rockies in 1980, also serving as general manager the following season. MacMillan remained with the team when they moved in 1982 to become the New Jersey Devils, and was released early in the 1983-84 season.
