Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 21, 2016 I use the term 'journalist' loosely and with wreckless disregard, but uber popular American TV host John Stossel has lung cancer. May he die as miserable a death as our health care system will allow. Spade_Cooley 9,527 Posted April 24, 2016 Kinda feel I could become the "dying journalist" guy on these forums. Guardian hack Simon Ricketts has thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension, which means he has little chance of making it past more than a decade and, if his upcoming operation isn't a success, he could be out for the count within the next few months. Four years later, hospitalised for bowel cancer.

Spade_Cooley 9,527 Posted May 29, 2016 Latest from Rowena Kincaid's Facebook: Hello Everybody, This is a message posted on behalf of Row, who's a bit under the weather at the moment. On Tuesday, struggling to breath, Row was taken to hospital where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She's now on a course of antibiotics and seems to be making progress. She's going to be kept in hospital for a few more days, but is hoping to be discharged next week. She wants to thank those who've noticed that she's been quiet of late and to reassure you all that she's resting and recuperating as per the doctor's orders. Hopefully she'll be back on here soon. HUGS AND LOVE TO YOU WONDER WOMAN!! Team Row xxx

The attack also killed the driver of the vehicle, an Afghan soldier. Two other NPR employees travelling with the pair were unharmed, the US public radio network said in a statement.
