And in a Feb. 25 tweet where she talks about making your check-ups, she says to get an MRI early and that "it could have saved me." I don't know about you, but that specific phrasing sounds rather ominous.

MrWonderful 481 Posted March 2, 2020 5 hours ago, Sir Creep said: MrW - Do you think she meant could have saved me from an early grave, or is she saying could have saved me all this brain surgery bother? For her sake, I hope it's the latter. If it does happen to be the worst possible news, she's probably still a good bet to survive the year. But there's a chance that she would make an excellent pick for 2021, especially in formats that reward more points for youthful people. To add to that, she did begin her Feb. 25 tweet (that I referenced earlier) by saying that she "had good & bad news today." So it's certainly plausible that the "good news" could be that the doctors think it's benign and that she has a good shot at recovery. Also today, she retweeted a tweet from ace football reporter Adam Schefter. In the tweet, Schefter references a post from Kelly Stafford, the wife of Matthew Stafford, who underwent a 12-hour surgery last year to remove a brain tumor. Kelly Stafford announced that she and Matthew are expecting their fourth child. So perhaps it's Britt's way of telling the world that this isn't a death sentence. Again, for her sake, I hope so. Also reminds me of a 7-minute feature I saw on last night's SportsCenter, where NBA player Jrue Holiday and his wife Lauren were profiled. Lauren Holiday, for those who don't know, used to be a star player on the U.S. women's national soccer team. While pregnant with their first child in 2016, it was discovered that she had a brain tumor, a meningioma. The child was delivered a few weeks early and everything is OK with their daughter now. Lauren underwent the surgery a few weeks after giving birth. And while she's doing reasonably well now, the ordeal was considered life-threatening at the time, and she'll never be the previous version of herself. She still has some bad days.
