Stuart Weir (wiki), Editor of the New Statesman (1987–1991), dead at 85.

Also founded the hugely prominent (but ultimately unsuccessful) pressure group Charter 88, which campaigned for electoral reform. The other co-founder, Lib Dem politician Lord Richard Holme (wiki), died back in 2008.

Linda Tirado underwent a few surgeries and may not actually be in hospice yet, at least as of July 2.
