My hmm was to indicate perhaps a lack of evidence in the first place. And also the symbiotic relationship between the police and journalists. Think how long some of the now cleared Yewtree celebs were under investigation. The dismissal is either quick because there was nothing there in the first place and/or something else. Anyhow, maybe he will be a little less of a journalistic bully now he's seen it from the other end. I have little to no opinion on the man himself, mind you.
