Hmm, thinking about Phyllis Diller earlier got me to thinking about those Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. Can't be many folk still around from them, I thought, as the big names were folk like John Wayne and Sinatra and co.

Well, as they involved Bob Hope and Zsa Zsa, I'm glad it's not what you're thinking! :lol:

 

Basically, lots of people get drunk on (live?) TV and make light hearted fun of a chosen celebrity, who sits at the head of a table and is "roasted".  Apparently they happen a lot.

Celebrity roasting  is where other celebrities get a celebrity and mercilessly take the piss out of them.Surprised they are still going with all the pc brigade about.Think this is your life but the people they have on aren`t singing your praises they are ripping you to shreads.
