Louis Manna NOT dead. Gangster Report have withdrawn the obituary and the federal prison system has confirmed he's still alive.

The BoP is pretty good, nowadays, about making sure their prisoners stay (or at least are) alive. 30-40 years ago (even when Mr. Manna entered prison), not so much!

"El Narco de Narcos" Rafael Caro Quintero, Mexican major cartel boss, former FBI Ten Most Wanted lister and close associate of drug lords Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo and Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, hospitalised for surgery and treatment of a prostate ailment he's suffered from for a while

I think it's quite a miracle Quintero, Carrillo and Gallardo are all three still alive at 70, 93 and 77 and all (especially Carrillo and Gallardo) have been quite ill for a while.

Rafael Caro Quintero hospitalised for another surgery.

Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo (1930) Head of the Guadalajara Cartel and prominent early cartel boss who now lives under house arrest in his mansion. Said to suffer from a billion health issues.

Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo de...nope, seeking parole from house arrest. Apparently he'll be freed anyways next year. The bastard already looked rotting in 1985 when his 40-year sentence began.

A new list up to 1935. Members of mobs, gangs, cartels etc. included too, as the previous list did have one gang member.

Luigi Manocchio (1927) Boss of the Patriarca Crime Family 1996-2009. Old school mafia boss with a criminal record dating back to the 1940s. Rumored dead in Sep 2024, but was said to be in extremely poor health in early August along with Eddie Lato. I'd trust those reports as Lato died just two weeks later.

Luigi Manocchio reportedly dead: https://www.golocalprov.com/news/luigi-baby-shacks-manocchio-former-new-england-crime-boss-is-dead

Picked for Deathrace 2025.

Renato.

He is not your traditional mafia boss. He was born in Milan from a Jewish father who never recognized him and he took the surname of his mother. He is a massive robber and murderer, and had contact with the mafia, but has never been a mafia boss himself, coming from the different criminality of Northern Italy (which is nearly extinguished nowadays). The news are pretty old and I suspect he is quite exaggerating it.
