Who Will Be The First Rolling Stone To Die?

Recommended Posts

Just realised that Bill Wyman is not even on my long list. Fortunately I hadn't filled the place Tony Warren recently vacated.

Some german papers are saying Bill Wyman has cancer?

Edit: Early prostate cancer, ah well, he should be ok.

'I'm going to get through it': The Rolling Stones' Bill Wyman positive he will make a recovery after prostate cancer diagnosis.

Photographer should have let poor Suzanne get to the toilet first, as she's clearly desperate.

Notes to self: if it comes back, he doesn't want chemo.

Further note to self: if it comes back, he probably wont tell the press in advance.

He was bloody selfish to have those kids at his age anyway.

True especially seeing as it isn't as though he has a good chance of reaching a grand old age. Also if you were having kids you would think after 50 years chainsmoking getting regular scans would be something you would do as well as quit smoking.

Deathlist 2018 for sure, after McCain and Newton John. I think 2018 is setting up to be a great year for them tbh.

And I agree Toast, having kids at 70 is very selfish to do.

Did he actually try to have kids, or did they just sort of turn up?

The whole thing behind folk being selfish to have kids at X age is of course they'll die and the kid wont have a parent, but the flipside is that the kid wouldn't have existed in the first place.

After 50 years chainsmoking, quitting must do wonders.

Assuming you're either both young or and ignorant.... yes, it takes the lungs about 3-4 years to fully recover from the grime of smoking, and I mean recover fully.
I just had chest x-rays 18 months ago and the x-ray tech said I had the 'biggest clean lungs' she had seen.  I told her that is interesting seeing as I smoked from age 13-34 (I'm 54).  I won't bore you with the whole conversation but suffice she confirmed the above info.

My Aunt always said after getting cancer at 54 that there was no point in her quitting smoking.(She was a very heavy smoker all her adult life). She insisted the damage was done. She beat cancer but then died from heart disease emphysema and kidney problems 6 days shy of 66.
