John Key 747 Posted January 12, 2020 He looks awful for himself, but I'd be surprised if he does die this year. As soon as he dies I'll start to include the Queen on my personal deathlists
Mischief Girl 44 Posted January 12, 2020 With the Sussex debacle, Her Maj might go first. Those two conniving, deceitful, ungrateful, selfish, and common grifters must have quintupled the Queen's stress levels. On 25/12/2018 at 06:07, Deathray said: No Phil at Sandringham. Jonah 180 Posted January 12, 2020 Prince Philip is "spitting blood" and fuming over his grandson's decision: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10719643/prince-philip-blasts-meghan-harry-decision-quit/. Aside from the mental stress, I noted this: "Frail Philip, who is now largely bed-ridden, has always been extremely close to Harry — and has been left “deeply hurt” at his decision to step back from duties." Queen Elizabeth II has ordered a private meeting with her grandchildren.

Toast 16,141 Posted January 12, 2020 Judging by the way he was moving when he left hospital, I suspect he's not "bedridden" in the sense of being incapable. He's probably been told to take plenty of bed rest.

My Nan was Bedridden for a couple of years so not sure he is top choice for the first hit of 2020 - he is well enough to be told about Harry and Meghan. msc 18,477 Posted January 13, 2020 I'm reasonably confident the papers were alarmist and confusing "bedridden" for "bed rest". Bed ridden is approaching the end, bed rest is common sense after a serious period of ill health.
