Just on gut feeling, Malcolm McDowell has always felt like one of those names that never get close to the DL because they die in their sleep aged 80 or there abouts. 

 

Although back in 2016 I took a shortlist of 30 names I thought wouldn't see advanced old age on gut feeling and 25 of them are still standing! (Phil Spector, Bill Paxton, Dale Winton, John McCririck and Jimmy Hood the unlucky five, and only McCririck I translated into DDP points because he was public about getting ill about 9 months before he died!)

I too love a good sex scene! Love a bit of shagging!

 

But I also wish Hollywood and British  television channels would treat us more like adults and make some more of this stuff instead of watering  so many of these films down to certificate 12 or 15.

There was a time when cinemas had a steady  abundance  of exotic thrillers back in the days of Basic Instinct and The Specialist. 

I long to return to those less tame more daring and risqué days!

Sir Antony Sher did a remarkable Othello a while back.  Perhaps the very best in-person appearance I have seen.  And I've seen batches of Cumberbatches and masses of McKellens.  I think the best comic role I saw in person was Rik Mayall as "The Inspector General".

Hmmm.. Dad's Army actor Gordon Peters (wiki) appeared in the Croft and Perry podcast in October.
