Guys, wonder if you can help me with this one. (I used your search engine first which yielded no results) British actor Cyril Appleton - according to wiki he was born 31 May 1930 and  is still alive - according to IMDB he was born July 29, 1930 and died July 2, 2005. Cyril Appleton - Wikipedia Cyril Appleton - Biography - IMDb. Any help would be gratefully received.

Matching GRO record.

Edit: Seemingly a different person, born in the same year and place.

Its not the actor. There is another Cyril Appleton.

Searching through the edit history of his Wikipedia, someone claiming to be his nephew edited it in 2023 to correct the DOB and place of birth - but not to add that he was dead. Which would lend credence to the "wrong Appleton theory" regarding him being listed as dead on IMDB.

EDIT: Also on his edit history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/90.214.242.103

The 2005 death notice was incorrect. Cyril Appleton is still alive and living in South Kensington. He is a close family friend and I spoke to him on 27/11/16. jasonalyon@hotmail.com

Yeah we’ve been through this one already. Was alive in 2016, and to the best of my knowledge is still alive.

NEVILLE Pat (née Heywood) died peacefully on 26th June 2024, aged 92. Prolific actress in theatre, film and TV.

A unique pick in the DDP!

Not needed as a Yahoo! UK already qualified but Pat Heywood got a Guardian obit if anyone wants to read up.

RIP. She was brilliant in my favourite Inspector Morse episode "Second Time Around" which also featured Kenneth Colley (born 1937), Ann Bell (born 1938) and Oliver Ford Davies (born 1939) who are all still going well into their mid 80s. Unusually by Morse standards, the cast of that episode has had decent longevity as Jenny Laird and Helena Mccarthy both lived to be 89.

Just watched on net first episode of a kick up the 80's and in the very first sketch Miriam Margoyles plays a cleaner in a Hospital who accidently pull's out the plug and kills  Ron Bain.
