Vinegar Tits 606 Posted December 26, 2012 I also think it's going to be the year of world leaders dying. Take your pick of any of these: Mandela, Thatcher, Chavez, Castro, Bush, Sharon, Whitlam, Mugabe, Gorbachev, Mubarak, Jaruzelski. I bet at least half are gone by the close of 2013.
Death Impends 7,979 Posted December 26, 2012 Mikhail Kalashnikov is in the hospital, reportedly intensive care though his son denies it. Would be good to give him a DL spot I reckon.

I hope he gets on with it. I dropped him from my 2013 team. regards, Hein
chiesa52 132 Posted December 27, 2012 Bob Dole- his great friend Senator Inouye just died, and he has also been in very poor health-
angryGreatness 96 Posted December 27, 2012 Final Suggestion for Me: George Bush - If he even makes it to January 1st. Bob Dole - Weak by all accounts, would be a spectacular miss if not on 2013. Luise Rainer - 2-Time Oscar Winner, over 100, I don't know why she hasn't been on the list before. Prince Philip - Would be one of the biggest deaths of the year, ill health, can't afford to miss. Mikhail Kalashnikov - Ill health, fairly recognizable. Joan Fontaine - Her sister has been a mainstay for a while now, why not her? Sir Henry Cecil - To keep the list from being a bunch of 85+ random picks. Hugo Chavez - See above, and to go with the World Leader theme that everyone seems to be pushing for. Jimmy Carter - Why not? Taken Off: Harper Lee - Rumors of ill health were exaggerated, likely to live a few more years. James Randi - Questionable fame, very little health problems Tariq Aziz - Not that famous, execution has no set date. Saif al-Islam Gaddafi - Sort of a shady pick, trial is unpredictable. Ariel Sharon - Is apparently getting healthier, and has a 24 squad of doctors to keep him from dying. Fats Domino - Reportedly much healthier than he was circa-Hurricane Katrina Hosni Mubarak - Health problems greatly exaggerated to keep him from seeing justice. Nigel Lawson - Fairly young and fairly healthy. Much better candidates can replace him.
mattyl149 13 Posted December 27, 2012 Looking at him in a repeat of the Paul Merton program about Alfred Hitchcock, I would suggest Gil Taylor - Director Of Photography. He's 98 and won't probably see out 2013
EGN 121 Posted December 27, 2012 I think putting some stock in these alleged Celebrity sex offenders could be worthwhile. A rash of guilt ridden suicides in the new year, perhaps?
maryportfuncity 10,655 Posted December 27, 2012 I think putting some stock in these alleged Celebrity sex offenders could be worthwhile. A rash of guilt ridden suicides in the new year, perhaps? Given his frequently fragile mental health Freddie Starr would be a prime candidate for me, if we went this route.
EGN 121 Posted December 27, 2012 Yep, got him in my DDP! Pick 15: Freddie Starr - Retired comedian and alleged toucher of kids. Not in my DDP, but on that note I reckon a 'child murderer named Ian' double of Huntley and Brady could yield results. Huntley is long overdue a nonce bashing and Brady has ben CTD for years. Parkinsons had already put him in a wheelchair. He's been in ICU since Sunday. It takes a while for the news reports to filter through the different media sites. Guest Anonymous Posted December 28, 2012 What about first ladies? Nancy Reagan will be 92 in 2013 and is about as brittle as she can be. Rosalynn Carter will be 86 in 2013 and while I haven't seen anything about her health, she appeared on the NBC White House Christmas special and was not looking to be in good shape. Barbara Bush will be 88 in 2013, has had numerous surgeries in recent years and, from the looks of it, will probably be losing her husband soon. It's not looking good for them!
