Load of rubbish as far as I’m concerned, but not necessarily for others. Who’s to say I’m right? If it brings them comfort, what’s the problem?

In an article from Judge Andrew Napolitano, who recently met the Pope.

“The Pope is in poor health, can barely speak or walk; and he radiates sadness. I was thrilled to reside in his home for four days, but I don't think he'll be there much longer.”

Take it with a grain of salt.

The author seems to have a flair for sensationalism.

We already knew he had trouble walking though? Barely speaking seems to be something new if true...

Also on Newsmax as well a Fox News type outlet. If they said it was raining I'd still look outside the window to check

Reminds me of this quote:

"If someone says it's raining, and another person says it's dry, it's not your job to quote them both. Your job is to look out the fucking window and find out which is true." -Sally Claire

A Pope who can't... well, 'pope'. As a religious man you think he'd be wondering if God is trying to send him some sort of sign...

I dare say there are a few duties he performs that you might not want to admit to being qualified for.

Performed the tradition of washing feet the Thursday before Easter. Apparently this year was a big deal because it was the first time that only women’s feet were washed.

I hate to state the obvious, but that's not especially good! Doesn't sound like he's physically up to something even JPII did in his last year of life, and JPII was way worse health-wise by that point!

The last pope who died in office, died shortly AFTER Easter holidays.

His successor resigned shortly BEFORE Easter holidays.

So, what about a pope dying ON an Easter holiday...

It's nothing worrying this time. He will attend Easter service.

Shakespeare died on his birthday

It feels like one of those situations where he will rally around and seem to get over his recent health worries and then drop dead when everyone leasts expects it. My grandad was in chronic bad health related to his heart problems for the last three years of his life but after his last heart surgery a few months before he died he really seemed like the fittest and healthiest he'd been in years. The end was really sudden when it came and I can see Francis going through something similar.

Presided over a 2 hour long Easter Sunday service. He appeared to be in good spirits, and was smiling and waving at the crowd
