Absolutely fucking right.  In my defence though he was on my list last year, and possibly the year before that.

tbh a few of them I had to google but they were "oh yeah, them" type actors ie her from Poseidon Adventure.

Geoffrey Chater was on Talking Pictures twice at least in last few months - episodes of Callan (awesome show), and episode of Armchair Theatre. Oh and Special Branch too, iirc. And Endless Night (Agatha Christie with added Britt Ekland nudity) and 10 Rillington Place too.

Huh, he's in The Verger (Tales of the Unexpected) and You Have Just Been Murdered (Avengers) too. Apparently its easier to list the stuff I've no seen him in.

Funny how some of these actors can be in dozens of things you've seen and you never twig its the same guy...

RIP to him (iirc he had "very frail now" news back in 2014 so he did quite well to live so long).

The new Father of the Hearse for British MPs is... SIr Patrick Duffy (b. 1920), Labour, Colne Valley 1963-6, Sheffield Attercliffe 1970-92, former Navy minister and one of the outspoken smaller job Shadow Cabinet members of the 80s.

The sooner Patrick Duffy shuffles off the better because every time i type in his name on wikipedia to see if he's dead yet it keeps giving me the name of that bloke who used to be Bobby Ewing in Dallas

Just announced that American canoeist John Lysak (wiki), the world’s oldest living Olympian, died back in January aged 105.

The oldest living Olympian is now Uruguayan sailor Felix Sienra (wiki) who is 104.

To settle a query from earlier this week, it’s also been confirmed that the oldest living British Olympian is 98 year old sailor David Bowker (wiki), who is a few months older than Edna Child.

Or not. Turns out David Bowker died in March 2020, three days after his 98th birthday!

So Edna Child is the oldest now (assuming she hasn't also died off radar!).

Well exactly one year ago I drew up a list of 264 famous centenerians and 106 of them are now dead. That's about 40 %, , so proportionately maybe about 20 from that list should die?

Singh has lived in the U.K. now for 7 decades. I wouldn’t consider him Indian, unless your list is based on birth alone or ethnicity/race.

No. I think he was still seasonally visiting family in India as recent as a few years back. That’s maybe where the confusion lies. He moved to the U.K. in the 1960s, and as of August 2020, still lived in Goodmayes, which is a part of Ilford in London.
