Cat O'Falk 3,290 Posted January 16, 2014 For the astronomers amongst us, John Dobson of the Dobsonion telescope fame, has departed for the heavens at the age of 98. http://www.skyandtelescope.com/news/John-Dobson-1915ndash2014-240456881.html I don't know if he liked baked beans though. Other than that he was great... And yet he was the most interesting thing in that story. Actually, having read his rational for the part, seemed one of those cases when it seems a wise acting choice at the time, but doesn't come across well in the filming. These things happen. Cat O'Falk 3,290 Posted January 16, 2014 Trigger: You knew my grand-dad Arthur, didn't you Mr Trotter. Grandad: Yeah, I knew Arthur alright. Trigger: He was a smashing man, he took care of me when my mum went. Rodney: Where was your dad? Trigger: He died a couple of years before I was born. R.I.P. Trigger. Thanks for all the laughs.
