Clorox Bleachman 2,452 Posted June 21, 2018 I just watched Barbara Walters: Her Story (2014) and there was a lot to take in. Firstly, reports of her intense fear of falling aren't an exaggeration. Woman's straight up petrified of moving or standing at the top of things - there was video evidence to back this up. Walking around her apartment, she didn't experience any great difficulty and she looked good, but there was an underlying fear, like she was going through an existential crisis. It was filmed at the time of her retirement. She kept mentioning "legacy" and teared up when the interviewer asked her questions about her mortality. Interpret that how you want to. I think she has a few years left but it became obvious to me that for her, retirement means retirement from everything.
