Good riddance then. This will eventually fix YouTube.

The chance of them being able to sell it off to someone who would be willing to keep it as a theme park, and not fight to try to build housing on it even if local government forbids it, is low. It would require, in my estimation, well over $100 million USD to properly rehabilitate the park both physically and reputationally, and for an area that is quite simply not open for this kind of tourism for a good chunk of the year, that would be unviable for any major operator. I could see Six Flags thinking about it but they already have Canada's Wonderland...

How many Asian billionaires there are left born in the 1920s? (on Forbes lists, therefore excluding Sheikhs such as that one Kuwaiti immortal and politicians)

- Robert Kuok (1923, 100) $10.4B, Malaysia, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Kuok Group, Wilmar.

- Nobutoshi Shimamura (1926 - Jul 2024, 98) $1.4B, Japan, Shimamura Co discount retailers.

- Goh Cheng Liang (1927, 97) $11.3B, Singapore, Nippon Paint. Extremely reclusive, but owns the largest tri-hull superyacht in the world.

- Lee Shau-kee (Feb 1928, 96) $26.4B, Hong Kong, founder of property development giant Henderson Land. In failing health.

- Shi Wen-long (Feb 1928 - Nov 2023, 95) $1.8B, Taiwan, founder of Chi Mei Corporation, the largest maker of ABS resin in the world.

- Li Ka-shing (Jul 1928, 96) $36.7B, Hong Kong, CK Hutchison Holdings and CK Asset Holdings. Richest man in Hong Kong and still doing quite well.

- Suhon Lin/Lin Shu-hong (Aug 1928, 96) $6.6B, Taiwan, Chang Chun Group petrochemical company.

- Wee Cho Yaw (Jan 1929 - Feb 2024, 95) $7B, Singapore, United Overseas Bank and UOL Group. Stepped down some months ago.

- Mochtar Riady (May 1929, 95) $1.4B, Indonesia, Lippo Group. Controversial and has looked half-dead for atleast a decade.

- Lui Che-woo (Aug 1929, 95) $12.8B, Hong Kong, casino operator Galaxy Entertainment Group and property developer K Wah.

- Kwong Siu-hing (Dec 1929, 93) $12.3B, Hong Kong, Sun Hung Kai Properties.

I think that's all?

Japanese billionaire Nobutoshi Shimamura of discount clothing retailer SHIMAMURA Co. died in July at 98 with so little fanfare Forbes still has him marked alive.
