Met Geoffrey Clifton-Brown once during the 1992 election when he was first standing in Tewkesbury We were having Friday lunchtime drinks in a pub close to where I worked which fell into his constituency but we all lived in the neighboring one. Not 100% sure they fully wrote it off. . Ellie Reeves was in Croydon South on Election Day with a lot of people from her Lewisham local party. If the seat has been written off like some were she would have gone elsewhere (Even out of London - Labour were sending activists from London as Far as Norfolk and Hampshire.) If they did it could have been gained by Labour who gained sevreal seats on less than the 35.3% there got there. (Which was a lower share than they got there in 2017).
