TQR 14,398 Posted August 8 Frankly, even with him on ignore, I'm sick and tired of him still being everywhere - not just the "you've chosen to ignore..." all over the place, but the quotes and the discussions about what kind of untrue/unsourced/inflammatory shite he's come out with next. I might look to leave if he doesn't.
RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted August 8 For context: the new Labour MP of Rochester has apologised for derogatory comments made online around a decade ago about various things, the only one I can remember off the top of my head being Estonians. This is around 2009 to 2012 and during this time she was a SpAd to various Labour MPs including Lisa Nandy. Not a great look, but as you can see from Crem's illuminating post, she's apologised. 1

Why do my moderation efforts always go under the radar? @The Old Crem I have closed down all four of your most recent reports, in which you allege you are the victim of 'bullying'. You have been asked on numerous occasions to stop posting tweets without any context. You have been placed on mod preview twice for doing it and previously been suspended from posting. Yet still you persist. Change your behaviour, stop annoying people and stop abusing the report function. Otherwise, I don't really have a problem with people calling you out for it .

Oh no offence DDT, I was talking specifically about giving problem users the boot rather than the expertly composed public bollockings you normally deal in Hilarious that Crem is spamming the report button. I never use it but I'd not be surprised in the slightest if they were often used against him. But yes, something needs to change. Even putting him on ignore isn't helping, as per my post on the top of this page.
Brad252 807 Posted August 9 Corbyn reportedly trying to form a new independent group with the MPs elected as independents on a pro-Palestine platform: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cd73x77r22do Given their common interest this doesn't surprise me, but I can see this backfiring on them. Firstly they'll get more attention, which by all likelihood will involve looking for skeletons in their closets, and they are the sort who could well have plenty (hence why so many of us put them in the by-election bingo lists). Second, they will use this to devote time to peddling an agenda instead of actually looking out for their constituencies, and should the Gaza situation calm down before the next election, they lose their common interest which could see them breaking up as a group.

At best, it’ll be another Change UK - an idea that gains traction, very briefly, before just disappearing into the ether. At worst, they’ll destroy their reputations as well as their careers. Not that Corbyn hasn’t done that to himself already.

Speaking as a resident of one of said constituencies, just imagine how much they could've impacted policy if they'd left their constituencies as part of the new fucking government instead of a bunch of radical nobodies.

En Passant 3,741 Posted August 10 So, according to him we in the UK are about to have a civil war. Despite owning most of the worlds best known electric car brand, he's funding a presidential candidate who's a climate denier. Pillock. On the plus side some of his customers probably won't be repeat puchasers.
