I named my team "To Kill A Gabor Sister" (got it from my favorite book, "To Kill A Mockingbird").

I just know realized what a terrible name that is. Zsa Zsa isn't my joker, so why do I refer to her in the name? Also, Harper Lee isn't even on it!

Writing this down here so I don't forget to use it as a theme team in DDP 2017:

Under The Wire - A list of people who have just turned 18 and thus are now eligible for DDP selection.

Just a thought .... as the weans can vote at 16 in civilised countries now, should the DDP qualifying age not be reduced ?

And re thread...

'The Bobby Moore Memorial Team' , for those light fingered tea leaves that are starred to die young. Think Winona etc.

you might want to pick my brother for that list as he recently brought a car. I would never go into a car with him unless I had ten layers of body armor.

Shirley Temple? Prince George? Bill Wyman's latest victim?

I'd strongly object to the age of deadpooling acceptability being reduce below 18. It's the age at which you must remain in education/training until now which makes sense as the age for deadpool picks.

Didn't say you couldn't leave school at sixteen. However due to the rule changes a few years ago, in England at least, you have to remain in education/training until 18. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt being Scottish that you didn't know about this, or were too pissed to read my post properly.

Or you could answer the fucking question with some names of people who under 18 were famous and worthy of a spot on DP teams? I can only think of ONE in the past twenty years and she IS on my shadow list this year (now that she is 18) and who won a Nobel Prize at 17 and that's Malala Yousafzai, and only then cuz I assume the target on her back is huge, almost as huge as the ISIS bragging rights of killing her.

The odds of another 16-17 year old combining fame and reason to be on a DP team is so extremely rare as not to change rules to accommodate the once a decade folk.

Thomas Chatterton, Lady Jane Grey, Richie Valens. Nkosi Johnson would have been a popular if morally repugnant pick for deadpoolers in 2001.
