Unfortunately I picked neither this year I am really sad about this, as she is one of my favourite authors, even though her recent novels have lacked her characteristic edge. Still good reads, but too tame for me. Going by interviews she has given, she seems to have pursued a very healthy lifestyle, plenty of exercise, eating sensibly etc. So that didn't work.
