Barely any. They used to pop up with the odd obscurity but these days it's Daily Mail or die!

Might give them the boot...

Rowena Kincaid talks about... no... to her cancer:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/brave-woman-battling-terminal-cancer-7371438

It sounds as if her current chemo cycle will be her last, and then she's going to be waiting for death, because it looks like nothing can be done anymore. But she's defiant and of a similar age to Joey Feek. So she may be around for a couple of months yet.

Anyone on here select Harper Lee?

Surely, but I didn't. Just had a look at all my main dead pool teams and realised it's a curse of running a dead pool that you're over-burdened with work at the key selection time. On reflection she'd have been a decent HPDP punt and probs more likely to cash in than Kate Granger, say. I mean, obviously, she has cashed in, but you get my drift.

If my maths is correct, Lord Avebury is 99th, not 100.

I did a count up of 2006-2013 to make sure it hit 79, which it did.

He's then had 20 hits since January 1st 2014

  1. Lynda Bellingham
  2. Katherine Crowe
  3. Sally Farmiloe
  4. Felix Glenny
  5. Jaruzelski
  6. Gerard Mortier
  7. Anas al-liby
  8. Ben Benmosche
  9. Colin Bloomfield
  10. Jim Ed Brown
  11. Francis George
  12. Michael C Gross
  13. Lauren Hill
  14. Denise Marshall
  15. Sam Simon
  16. Ion Trewin
  17. Rene Angelil
  18. Phil Gartside
  19. Aden Hailu
  20. Eric Lubbock

Which takes him to 99.

On less obsessive compulsive territory, 5th place, 5 hits and 10 points off Spade in February? I'm going to pretend I'm in a title race here.. while I can.

Hmmm, I could have sworn he was on 96 before 2016 began and he's had 4 hits since. Indeed somebody told me he had 96...

I think I know where I went wrong. dammed jr commas, that's what!

I've checked - it was 95 before the start of 2016.

The big event will have to wait. Strike it from the record...

Ironically enough I only added that accolade in the last minute when I realised what I thought was his 100th hit would pass unnoticed.

The wait goes on!

*huzzah dies* On the other hand, I've been playing DDP now for nearly 14 months without one hit - a record? Possibly not, but I may even see the year out without a hit.

ZZ Topped has written the book on failure at the DDP....but even he's had a hit this year.

Hmmm. Keen DDP archivist/updater but poor scoring record, I think you've just talked yourself into being the next host! :old:

Why thank you, I just don't have the tech knowledge to do web pages etc, I'd be completely lost!

Happy to help out - what I'm doing is probably my limit!
