The official time and cause of death is still to be determined by the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office. However, they can confirm there were no indications of drug or alcohol use, or any suspicion of foul play.

 

I shall await official confirmation of the estimated time of his death before I make a final decision.

 

I have sent an email to both teams that picked him telling them of the situation and giving them the option (open until the end of this month) of exchanging selections/joker picks.

Well you may be best to lay low with that Shameless 'theme team'. Just sayin. I'm actually glad you are proving a point and hopefully the Hassan Asif's of the world will no longer be allowed. I hope you win the whole enchilada with that team. It's the only way change will happen.

BUT......if you want to anger a lot of people around here keep promoting the success of that team.

In 2007, there was a team called No Noose is Good Noose. It was made up entirely of death row inmates across the world, and was quite controversial. It started well, but tailed off as the teams with more clever picks overtook it. I expect the same to happen to Shameless, which will be further hampered by those who die and don't get obits, and those who defy the odds.

You seriously expect this statement to go unchallenged? The death penalty != justice.

Any punishment may in one persons eyes be insufficient or conversely in anothers eyes too draconian. It is not a binary choice on any level and particularly with respect to what is considered the ultimate penalty.

Simply stating that the death penalty is justice is an oversimplification of massive proportions.

 

And anyway many executions are often delayed beyond the date set, so there is always an element of doubt about any actual date until it's been done.

still they are scheduled deaths which in my book are cheating if you knew the exact date that celebrities are going to die then that would be cheating. You kinda see my point

Hey, with Monty Brinson dead, I have two teams in the top 10 now, not even counting the possible (?) obit for Michel Delpech. That's got to count for something...
