Quite a few Scottish members on this Forum. Anyone know much about the health of some of the names here? I'm aware of Winnie Ewing being ill. I think Bill Walker has also been ill. Nanette Milne and Tom Mason have had illnesses in the past. Mason will surely be standing down next time, even if he hasn't announced his retirement yet.

David Davidson (wiki), Tory MSP for North East Scotland (1999–2007) died in June aged 81.

Resigned after having an affair with Christine Grahame. If you ask me he should have been charged with beastiality too.

During the last 15 years, seven former Heads of State of Yugoslavia have died. Only Raif Dizdarevic (1926-) and Stjepan Mesic (1934-) left.

Stjepan Mesic hospitalised with serious leg injury, will be in hospital/rehabilitation for weeks but "doing fine".

My first hit of the year!! On my Gooseberry Crumble DDP team. Many thanks at least I've avoided the shame of zero 'hits' out of 60 names!

MM Lawrence, Ren Jianxin and Daniel J. Evans. Three decrepit relics gone within 24 hours. The Reaper will definitely need a break after this.

Butcher of Tiananmen Chi Haotian, in civilian clothes, visited his friend He Jingzhi, former minister of culture who will turn 100 later this year. Chi was widowed last year. Sadly, he looks very good.

Always state the name in your posts for the sake of the search function in the future. Don't just say "he is dead".
