Hoping for rejuvenation, Stalin organized an institute, and then said that he had been deceived by Alexander Bogomolets: he received the institute, but died at the age of 65, burying with him Joseph Vissarionovich's dream of living at least 150 years. Karl Marx, referring to Hegel, noted that all great events and personalities appear, so to speak, twice. However, he noted that Hegel forgot to add: the first time in the form of tragedy, the second time in the form of farce. Vladimir Khavinson, the director of the Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, was more modest in his predictions. He believed that the limit of human life - 110-120 years. Where is the farce? Vladimir Khavinson was also the host of the program "About the most important thing" on the Rossiya TV channel of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

On 03/02/2024 at 14:59, msc said: I dropped him when they said he was going for immunotherapy as that sounded like they expected he could last a bit longer. This says that, contrary to most experts opinions, the immunotherapy has worked on his glioblastoma. Time will tell but there is a slim chance this is an incredible breakthrough. Just watched an interview with him on Sky News. Brain cancer gone 8 months he says, and looking well and very chirpy actually.

Probably will be even better remembered for significantly strengthening the requirements for gross negligence manslaughter charges and convictions for doctors (at least in England? Not sure if that'd 100% fall under devolved competence or not, or if Holyrood/Stormont/Senedd have followed suit if it is.).
