Yet nothing on their website when her age and fame would mean she has a prepared obituary.

The Telegraph, The Hollywood Reporter, The Times and The Guardian all have full length obituaries up now and they were published within an hour of the news first breaking (slight delay probably due to verifying reports / minor tweaks to detail in text body). Let’s not be too harsh on the written press. They’re generally quite quick.

She had a good career but not a great one.

I think she was born in the wrong era. Strong, independent woman who could kick arses was not really an asset in the 60s and 70s.

Unless I am mistaken  Honor Blackman is the first time I have correctly predicted who will be the next death in the thread poll.

I've always liked Honor and found her to be a fascinating lady to watch or read in interviews as well as in her performing roles.

Definitely a decent embodiment of pure sass.

Rest in peace.

Nobody's said it, but she was in Terror Of The Vervoids for Doctor Who.

Bit of an embarrassing miss for my Hares Team.

One of those who paved the way others, perhaps.

I take nothing for granted, even with the current predicament. We could still see a dry spell lasting six months.

Could very well be... but there are only just under 9 months left in the year, we'd need another 11 deaths to overtake 2017, and the average monthly rate is usually about 1 per month.  Even with a few direct or indirect Covid deaths, overtaking is not guaranteed.

Well... the death average is 2 deaths per moth until now... and still a lot of time.. .
