Cowboy Ronnie 78 Posted July 4, 2008 Britain's top spy, Alex Allan, the chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee, is unconscious and seriously ill in hospital. How can he be Britain's top spy if everyone knows who he is? I can just imagine him trying to drop off some microfilm at a dead letter box in Sevastopol, and one of the locals saying, "Hey, you're that Britsh secret agent I was just reading about".

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted June 19, 2009 American Cold War spy John Anthony Walker, serving a life sentence, is suffering from stage 4 throat cancer if his Wikipedia page is to be believed. He's currently incarcerated at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, which does suggest he might not be in the best of health.

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted January 4, 2017 Heard on the grapevine that former MI5 whistleblower David Shayler is currently very unwell. However, I don't know if his ailment is of a physical or mental nature. Given that he has form for dressing up in drag and proclaiming that he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, one suspects that it would be the latter, but worth keeping under observation just in case.
