maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted November 13, 2005 Clive Dunn has eluded them so much his inclusion might be a sore point.
G. Love 0 Posted November 14, 2005 *struggles back on topic* I'm convinced that Norman Wisdom is made of Teflon. How can a man whose entire career was based on falling over still be alive? Fair play to the man.
Banshees Scream 110 Posted November 16, 2005 We've got to get Clive Dunn back on there, though. Surely the DL committee isn't going to tempt fate for a second year! 2 years without the Deathlist favorite? - I think not.
BobTheChicken 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Not that this is related to anything but... How do they allocate the handicapped car parking spaces at the paraplegic Olympics?? (A point for anyone who knows where I knicked this one from) In the interests of political correctness I should point out to you that the "para" in paralympics is short for parallel not paraplegic. Good point Bob. Also people with disabilities tend to cringe at the term "handicapped".

Handrejka 1,904 Posted January 5, 2006 He'll probably go this year as it's the first year I've not got him on my list
Canadian Paul 97 Posted January 5, 2006 He'll probably go this year as it's the first year I've not got him on my list Don't be so sure. I've read nothing about him that says he's in anything other than excellent health. Although I'm open to rebuttal...
Tempus Fugit 214 Posted January 5, 2006 He'll probably go this year as it's the first year I've not got him on my list No way Norm is in for the long haul, A DeathList mistake if you ask me, Norm's gonna defy the odds.
Banshees Scream 110 Posted January 5, 2006 Norm's gonna defy the odds. Sounds like he is on a journey or even a mission. Also "Defying the odds" may be givin a place in my latest.
16_f_herts 0 Posted January 12, 2006 Hi is 91 this year. What with all the stuff going on in his private life, i think at his age, he is ready to go now. What about Reg Varney, I dont no much about him except that hes roundabout the same age as Norman. Do u reckon he should go on the list too?
Windsor 2,233 Posted January 12, 2006 I think that both have their on threads. So mods, merge? [merged HCW]
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted January 12, 2006 Windsor - you are a mod aren't you?
Windsor 2,233 Posted January 12, 2006 Yes, I'm a mod but only of the 'moderater' variety rather than the more famous 'moderator' variety. So therefore I lack the power to do anything....
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted January 12, 2006 Would you care to expand on that? I'm still confused!
Windsor 2,233 Posted January 12, 2006 Would you care to expand on that? I'm still confused! It was an admin/moderator joke on Tempus and I to get us all excited and to think we were moderators. Luckily Tempus spotted the spelling before I had a chance to make a fool of myself. So I am not a moderator but a moderater. Which holds no power.
Phantom 2,533 Posted January 12, 2006 I didn't realise there was much going on in Norman's personal life. I thought he was just enjoying his retirement
