I hope there will be a move and investment back away from China as a result of this but things will cost more and it will take some time. Sadly they don't just make tat any more and they have a lot of investment outside China now including the US, but I think they have particularly strong ties with Africa and mining companies. They are not just lots of people working in factories mass producing cheap products; they do that but they have also invested massively at state level to support companies in high tech industries blatantly copying equipment made in the West and then exporting it for less than the OEM can make it for.
