As an internationally famous superstar she certainly deserves one especially as she turned 80 in early January. It would be a bit of a forum travesty if we were caught unawares and she passed away without a thread already established imo! She's also quite a private person so she could well have serious health issues that we are unaware of and thus she isn't really on our radar in terms of the deathlist or predictions. A relatively recent picture of the grand Dame and Diva!

Well, being born into royalty doesn't require any skills, it's just pure randomness by nature. Her Majesty Queen Silvia, on the other hand, slept worked her way to her status as the Queen. I think that's far more impressive, although it would've been a more Cinderella-like story if she had come from a poor family in a favela in Rio de Janeiro rather than an affluent German family in Sao Paolo...And yeah, Elizabeth has more power and all, but Her Majesty Silvia is much more wonderful and gracious and lovely and so on. For example, would Elizabeth ever hang out with Skurt? Don't think so.

Hate to burst your bubble, but your "Queen" is just a Queen Consort, instead of Lizzy's much more impressive (and much more exclusive) status of Queen Regnant.

Goodness I hadn't realised that he's never appeared on the official deathlist. He's an absolute pivotal figure in the history of the late 20th century.

Oh very possibly yes but in terms of Clarissa Eden and Cherie Blair I didn't sense that her dislike was for party political reasons I just sense that she found Mrs Blair baffling, unimpressive and overgrand. I know Cherie Blair wrote a book about the wives of UK Prime Ministers and I think the BBC documentary was based on this book.

She was very nearly Krystal Carrington in Dynasty -She was first choice for the role I think above Linda Evans but turned it down.

There was a documentary a few years back in which Cherie Blair interviewed the living PM's wives, including Clarissa and (Pan Breed favourite) Mary Wilson. Alas, I missed it at the time, and have never found it sneaking online.
