3 pointsOur host, TQR, will no longer be updating this pool and has graciously handed this pool over to me to update henceforth. I wanna thank him for all the work he's done on the pool up to this point!

3 pointsMildly interesting DL-related trivia is that he was Dick Van Dyke's IRL gym pal, hence why DVD appeared on Days as Hogestyn's dad last year.

3 pointsAlexandre do Nascimento (wiki) finally dead at 99. A DDP pick for 2 teams. Nascimento was the last living cardinal born in 1925. The oldest living cardinal is now Estanislao Esteban Karlic (wiki) of Argentina who is 98. Nascimento was also the last surviving cardinal who was barred from voting in the 2005 conclave (which elected Benedict) because he was 80+ and thus ineligible to vote.

2 pointsI never understood Dom Joly’s popularity or how he built an entire career on the back of shouting into a giant inflatable mobile phone.

2 pointsIs there anybody in the world surprised that Rosie Duffield has quit the Labour Party? A ticking timebomb for at least 2 years. Doing so at a time of peak weakness. How ever much the left froth and the right shout and scream, Sir Keir has a majority of more than 160, he can largely do what he likes. I would appreciate it if he could clean his act up though, stop the amateur mistakes and crack on with solving some of the issues this country faces. Lots of words and plans but not a lot of action yet (I know that's not all his fault, summer then conference season - just imagine if Rishi had called the election in May like he was meant to!) and plenty of pain but not much in the way of rewards. All this nonsense is taking up the room because there's nothing else to talk about. Let's see some practical steps that sure up the finances, make people feel more confident and start to move the country in the right direction. No problem with him taking executive tickets at Arsenal, fully understand the security risks and he's had a season ticket for years. The clothes and stuff is a trickier issue, some of it is a storm in a teacup (Angela Rayner in NYC) but the clothes gifts are awkward when he's so personally wealthy. That said, the double standards from the Tories on this is incredible - do they remember their saviour Boris?

2 pointsI intentionally didn’t list background characters/extras. “Dimpled woman on train” is not interesting.

1 pointOkay, I have followed OoO's suggestion of pursuing much slimmer roundups rather than full fledged obits. This is definitely far more feasible. Maybe an hour or two whereas the obits were much more. As always let me know if LotL/M names slipped by... I'll try to be more on top of things now that I'm making the obit side of things less stressful. I guess this makes Scott Thorson my last big headliner obit.

1 pointDefinitely time for Joan Plowright to make her first appearance on next year's list if she makes it.She seemed a lot frailer than the others in the documentary and also seemed a lot older than the rest although the other 3 were only 4_5 years older.Wonder if she will be at the funeral?Somehow I doubt it but reckon Eileen and Judi will almost certainly attend.
