Watching ch5 (uk) she appeared on one of these greatest hits programmes.  FFS, didn't realise she was 81.

looks older, maybe one for a reserve list.

She’s a legend. Still presenting in the small hours on Radio 1. Sounds a bit partied out, mind.

Topic title needs to be amended for search purposes.  Nightingale, not Nightengale.

Lifelong award for services to the tobacco industry, btw - so "partied out" might translate as limited lung capacity!

Was this a subtle tip-off from 6 months ago?

DJ Annie Nightingale is 83 and owns her own flat but has no pension: 'I hate the 'R' word. Retire... I've got no plans to do that yet'

Well, the 'D' word is an easy way to avoid running out of money.

Wasn’t selected last year but was in the past so has either been a hit or more likely a LOTM.

Not picked for 2024. Last time 2022.

Legend and far more important to a generation just slightly too young for John Peel (erm.. You know what I mean). Annie made Sunday night baths and homework bearable. RIP.

Her, Tommy Vance, Robbie Vincent, John Peel are responsible for about 90% of my music collection, her shows were a huge part of my youth
