Genfærd 452 Posted March 30, 2022 Quitting his career due to aphasia. Seems huge enough for his own thread. Source: https://www.tmz.com/2022/03/30/bruce-willis-acting-career-pause-step-away-aphasia-diagnosis/ 3
gcreptile 11,079 Posted March 30, 2022 So.... they announced it after he got the Golden Raspberry for his bad acting in the past year. Probably because it had become obvious to everyone? But of course, they knew it before and have known it for quite some time.

The Old Crem 3,638 Posted March 30, 2022 Surely the fact it’s his family announcing it could be significant. Many people with this type of condition are capable of still releasing a written statement. So it must be towards the more secure end not just affecting his actual speech.

Fucking hell, if people who have never met me on here imagine who I am now they might have a mental image of Bruce Willis taking out terrorists in that skyscraper. Is he not well enough to release a written statement of his own? Who would want to if they had it!! I should imagine he is devastated, I doubt that he would be able to give an upbeat statement. His family took that burden from him.
