I was not very old during these years and most of my memory of these come from the Local Radio soundtrack and the small number of vinyl singles that were in the house (My Mum had Twelfth of Never), my older sister was a huge David Cassidy fan but I could tell you what he looked like but not what he sounded like. However my abiding memory of I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing was when we had a Sunday School float for the village fete where we all adopted (what would now be considered to be pretty damned racist) national costumes and sang this song as we went round I had one of those triangular straw hats and a pair of pyjamas with Chinese characters on them. I was about 5 at the time so it was probably more 74/75.
