There aren’t  more than half a dozen songs worth a fuck on this new list, and some thumbsucker what wasn’t even born yet looks at this entire list and downvotes one of them. Tone Def Cunto (TDC is its new name).

This was the only one I didn’t know by name so I just looked it up, it’s been an ongoing earworm of mine for fucking aaaaages! Feels good to solve that mystery.

Her whole debut album is still one of my favorites of all time; I like every single song on it, still high quality!

Funny how the game can grind on for 2-3 days with 9-10 left and no apparent resolution in prospect then suddenly within a few hours we lose 3, there's another on the brink and the game's over.

Apologies for an apparently stupid remark yesterday, I thought 5 went through, not 4. Must read rules more carefully.

To say the least.  Let’s see if it was just as bad in the States (spoiler: it was).

1. At least if you were going to pick a Right Said Fred choon wouldn’t it be I’m Too Sexy? (#1 Feb 1992). They were clearly a one hit wonder, and whatever that thing is on the list was never played over here—thank God.  How could your country get it so wrong?  I could almost get behind the proper RSF song had it been listed.

2a. We must live on two different planets (well we certainly have different demographics).  ‘Jump’ by Kris Kross was #1 for EIGHT WEEKS (May-June 1992) but hip-hop wasn’t a thing over there.  Your loss.

2b. See also: Baby Got Back by Sir-Mix-a-Lot (FIVE weeks at #1 July 1992).

2c. See also (to some extent): Informer by Snow was #1 for SEVEN weeks (March-April 1993).

It’s a great song, wtf were you listening to? Apparently Take That and Mr Blobby lmfao.  Informer is better than just about anything we are voting on.

All in all our list of #1 songs was just as bad unless you like black r&b resurgence shite, but there were a few good fun songs y’all missed.  I think we can see when music really hit the skids (1991-1996 or so).
