I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I always associate Somebody To Love very strongly with Christmas.

My grandfather always wanted to hear this song on Christmas Eve, so we turned it up loud and celebrated accordingly.

After that he always said what a fantastic piece of music this song is. Always. Each year.

This is a great memory for me. And whenever I hear this song, I'm a little sad because I think of my grandfather, who has passed away in the meantime.

And at the same time I'm happy because it's such a fantastic piece of music!

How can people not love the Joe Tex song?  It was a floor filler back in the day.  Irresistible dance beat that got everybody's arse moving and it was fun!  Probably too offensive for the snowflakes of today, but back then everybody on the dance floor was being that big fat woman
