TV producer John Balson took his own life on May 17. Getting some traction in the media today due to the implications that the subject matter he specialised in - true crime documentaries - contributed heavily to a decline in his mental health, and his production company/Channel 4 weren't too bothered about their duty of care. He was the producer of that show where Emilia Fox has for some reason convinced herself she has the right to theorise about real people being murdered because she played a detective once.

Frank Carroll was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and died in Palm Springs, California at age 85, and was an American figure skating coach and competitive skater. He had coached three skaters to win the World Figure Skating Championships: Linda Fratianne, Michelle Kwan and Evan Lysacek. Lysacek won the men's Olympic gold medal in 2010 in Vancouver. He has been inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame, the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame, and the Professional Skaters Association Coaches Hall of Fame, and was named the 1997 Olympic Coach of the Year. bronze in the Jr category in the USA (59 and 60). Among his coaches is Denis Ten (1993-2018), the 2013 world silver medalist and the 2014 Olympic bronze medalist.
