Phantom 2,552 Posted December 9 I forget. Are we allowed to have two theme teams or just the one?
Spade_Cooley 9,635 Posted December 9 Three teams of any stripe (so 3 theme teams, 2 theme teams and 1 normal team, 2 normal teams and 1 theme team, or three normal teams if you want everyone to mutter behind their backs and secretly think you're rigging the game).

Thank you. I had an idea for a theme team and didn't want to ditch my regular Sad Last Days theme team

drunkasaskunk 197 Posted December 12 Did many of the early bird entries have Jody Gormley as their joker?

livingbygrace 422 Posted Wednesday at 00:16 I was thinking I would like to enter this years DDP for the first time. But the spread sheet is just not working for me at all. My little old lap top is having a real hard time with it for some reason.. I saw there was a possible other way to enter. Do I PM my team or Something? Do I PM my team or Something? Email your team (or each team) WITH YOUR JOKER AT THE TOP (well that's how I do it). Add three subs to the team. If you need to explain who your pick is, do that underneath your team. For example, Jim Smith would need an explanation, Brian Blessed probably not. I cannot use Excel at all. I've had no problems so far just using the old style. Hope this helps. 1
YoungWillz 21,213 Posted Wednesday at 00:23 I should add the email address is on the current rules page here: https://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/ddp-rules/ That also gives all you need. 1

Captain Hemlock 748 Posted Wednesday at 01:25 Will we be getting confirmation emails for our entries?

There should be an auto responder to any incoming emails detailing this. To save myself some time this year you will only receive an email back if there are issues with your teams. Otherwise, it will be up to the players to ensure their teams are entered once the pool goes live. Figure it would also help those who have received confirmation emails while having missing teams. I most likely won't be entering teams until after Xmas.

Will previous participants still automatically receive an initial email inviting them to take part as in previous years or do we just email the website? Asking as I haven't received an email but I am unsure if the protocols etc have changed. Thank you in advance.

If you haven't received I would just junk mail or look again. Could be I just missed your email or one of them didnt go through properly.

Hi Banana, I have just checked and there is no sign of an email in my regular email or junk spam box There is a small chance that I might have mass deleted my spam box to free up phone memory without checking but I normally do not press delete without checking. But I can't 100% preclude the possible the error is my fault. If you need me to private message you my email address so you can please resend then please let me know. Many thanks

The email is really only to remind the non-users of the upcoming deadline and that "hey we still exist"

I haven't received one, and I checked my spam folder and searched for '2025' - alt.obituaries yes, DDP no. I don't believe all previous participants received reminder/invitation email for DDP 2025 with entry template.
