Yes, that's correct. Aka Ian. Not sure why he's now taken on a female persona, particularly when the account he's using gets virtually no engagement, but hey ho.

Arsewipe 202 Posted July 28, 2023 The worst thing about the IRA Brighton bombing (apart from Thatcher surviving it) was Tebbit's meat and two veg on show when he was rescued from the rubble. 3 4
YoungWillz 20,918 Posted July 4 Anyone else think this fucker and Dennis Skinner are clinging on to see the outcome of the General Election? Might be a screed of former MPs finally letting go in the next couple of weeks.

JQW 276 Posted July 4 I presume that if either of them did cark it today it would have been embargoed until after the polls close.

I've been feeling all day that someone will go today, but it will have been hushed up in case it influenced the outcome.

There's no legal position here. You know, the whole sympathy, maybe they aren't as bad as they were, remember the good old days, blah blah blah. No challenges, just the populace being affected in some way. Same as if Jimmy Carter died on election day in the US. I'm sure they might keep that quiet. I don't know, but you just know, you know. When Tebbit dies, I shall extend my sympathies to Sean on the death of his uncle, but otherwise, you know my views on him. (Tebbit, not Sean!)
The Old Crem 3,576 Posted July 4 I think the family of a elderly senior politician in the UK might keep it quiet and the media wouldn’t generally report rumours but in the USA I’m not sure Carter dying could be kept secret for that long

Deathrace 1,161 Posted July 6 At least Tebbit can now die safe in the knowledge that his old seat of Chingford has stayed Conservative (very surprisingly on this occasion as well). Which is more than you can say for the seat he actually lives in. It's also more than you can say of his contemporaries Hurd and Heseltine who have lived long enough to see Witney and Henley go Liberal Democrat respectively. RoverAndOut 4,726 Posted October 8 Watched the Brighton Bomb programme on BBC2 tonight. John Gummer was a leading contributor, as was Robin Butler. Conspicuous by his absence was Norman Tebbit, given his personal experiences of the incident. He was only included in archive footage. Did he refuse or was he unable to contribute? The programme was very interesting, by the way.

What are you talking about? He’s spoken about it on many occasions. I saw Tebbit in real life a couple of years ago shortly before he retired from the Lords. He looked like death warmed up. He’s on extra time. 6 months, tops.
