Yes, that's correct. Aka Ian.

Not sure why he's now taken on a female persona, particularly when the account he's using gets virtually no engagement, but hey ho.

This appears to be a new photo

He doesn't look bad, I expected worse.

In his photos from a couple of years ago he looked worse.

He's not standing of course but I notice a walking stick which appears to suggest he's not wheelchair bound.

The worst thing about the IRA Brighton bombing (apart from Thatcher surviving it) was Tebbit's meat and two veg on show when he was rescued from the rubble.

Anyone else think this fucker and Dennis Skinner are clinging on to see the outcome of the General Election?

Might be a screed of former MPs finally letting go in the next couple of weeks.

I presume that if either of them did cark it today it would have been embargoed until after the polls close.

This was exactly my thought.

I've been feeling all day that someone will go today, but it will have been hushed up in case it influenced the outcome.

Surely any legal argument about that would be problematic at best?

Oh, there's nothing you could do about it. There's no legal position here.

You know, the whole sympathy, maybe they aren't as bad as they were, remember the good old days, blah blah blah.

No challenges, just the populace being affected in some way. Same as if Jimmy Carter died on election day in the US. I'm sure they might keep that quiet.

I don't know, but you just know, you know.

When Tebbit dies, I shall extend my sympathies to Sean on the death of his uncle, but otherwise, you know my views on him. (Tebbit, not Sean!)

I think the family of a elderly senior politician in the UK might keep it quiet and the media wouldn’t generally report rumours but in the USA I’m not sure Carter dying could be kept secret for that long

Carter being dead couldn't stay out of the news for more than a few hours.

At least Tebbit can now die safe in the knowledge that his old seat of Chingford has stayed Conservative (very surprisingly on this occasion as well). Which is more than you can say for the seat he actually lives in. It's also more than you can say of his contemporaries Hurd and Heseltine who have lived long enough to see Witney and Henley go Liberal Democrat respectively.
