Scraggy Taters 290 Posted April 25, 2016 Further information is proving hard to come by, but it appears that Emile Ford, who with the Checkmates had a number one with 'What do you want to make those eyes at me for' died on 11th April. That's the date Wiki has recorded for him - though I haven't seen a single UK obit for the man behind 1959's Christmas number one. Billy Paul, best known for his 1972 hit, "Me & Mrs. Jones", dead at 81. We got a funeral.....goin on.... Me-and-er misses his 82nd birthday.

Spade_Cooley 9,538 Posted May 1, 2016 Latest on Tommy Fuckitt: After 25 days at Jackson Memorial, Thomas is going home where he can be more comfortable. He will have around the clock nursing care and be continuing the treatments he had been receiving at the hospital. For the past few weeks, he has been battling internal bleeding and an aggressive infection within his abdomen. Because he is not a candidate for invasive surgery to treat these issues directly, he is being administered a rigorous regimen of IV and oral medications to combat what's going on. Not having been permitted to eat for a month, he's just now able to start on some mild shakes and smoothies in the hopes to supplement his IV nutrition and bulk him back up so he can walk again. This has been a true test of his patience and endurance, both of which he is blowing us away with. His unparalleled drive and lust for life are undoubtedly what keeps him going each day. The last month has left his body very weakened, and he has a long way to go before he is ready for more immunotherapy, but we are giving him all the tools and care here at home to turn things around and continue to keep us all in awe. gcreptile 10,979 Posted May 8, 2016 American rock'n'roller Bobby Rydell is in a "serious condition". This message from his facebook page Had to cancel my upcoming Australia tour due to some health issues. Can't leave the country until I have a major surgery. Doc says I will make a full recovery so think good thoughts for me everyone. Bobby Update from Bobby Rydell's facebook page "I recently underwent a double organ transplant (kidney & liver) after a long battle. My life donor saved many lives, myself being just one. I am alive today because of the value one grieving family placed on life. My hearts go out to them. My doctors tell me I am doing extraordinarily well and I expect to have a full recovery. I hope to be back on stage as soon as the Doctors say I can, you all know me…that’s my home. Many of you have said prayers and sent messages of support over this difficult time for us and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, it meant everything to me. Bobby Rydell" I thought this report on Bobby Rydell (has an autobiograpy coming out) was interesting. He was a hardcore alcoholic for 20 years. http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/20160508_Talking_about_his_new_autobiography_with.html

Was it maybe a triple transplant or does he have 2, in which case maybe he's a time lord. Maybe he can just regenerate.
