Sir Creep 7,070 Posted May 12, 2021 The St. Louis Billikens assistant coach Ford Stuen passed away at 29 years old earlier this morning. Late in the 2020-21 season, Stuen complained about a pain in his abdominal area. Soon after this pain came about, the rising-star assistant was diagnosed with a severe infection and was unable to recover — despite undergoing antibiotic treatments and a medically-induced coma. He was reportedly in the hospital since Apr. 4. SC

Sheriff's office said he crashed his bicycle this morning and later died in a Utah hospital. No other vehicle involved apparently. After Shawn Bradley sustained life changing injuries also cycling in Utah it may be prudent for any 7ft+ Caucasian ex-NBA players to forgo any such activity!

He turned out to be a champ and a great role model. Former NBA guard Terry Duerod died Friday morning at the age of 64. He quietly battled leukemia for the past seven months, and was in hospice care for the last week. A 6’2″ guard, Duerod played college basketball under Dick Vitale at the University of Detroit. In four seasons at Detroit, Duerod scored 1,690 points, averaging 23.3 points per game during his senior season. Duerod spent 4 seasons in the NBA, and won the NBA title in 1980-1981 with the Boston Celtics. After his NBA career was over, Duerod transitioned to a new, nearly three-decade-long career as a firefighter in the city of Detroit. RIP SC Dick Vitale himself now has two forms of cancer: melanoma and lymphoma. Both diagnosed within the last few months.
