SC His lung cancer would provide some justification for his inclusion, although I guess that he could survive into 2019 even if it were to return next year. msc 18,435 Posted July 29, 2019 Back home and on mend after the better part of three months in hospital and recovery unit. Was apparently in worse shape than he let on, though. Quote King, 85, had been in and out of the hospital with chest pains following his April heart attack and spent most of May and June in a recovery center in Los Angeles. Visitors to the hospital were 'shocked' and 'extremely concerned' seeing the former CNN and ESPN host in 'terrible shape', a source close to King told DailyMailTV, but he has since rallied and is even planning a live appearance in New York in October. The show, Larry King & Everybody Who Was Anybody For the Past 50 Years, is slated for October 2 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, featuring a conversation about live music with King and the venue's owner, Peter Shapiro. King's stunning turnaround is great news for friends and family who feared the ailing star wouldn't make it.
